Carl is the star of Cranky Carl’s Viral Animal Clip Show. He is a Jacksons Chameleon and was born in August, 2014. His parents are Mo’i and Igor who are both from the island of Oahu in Hawaii. This type of chameleon originally came from Kenya in Africa but were introduced (accidentally) to Hawaii 40 years ago. Carl lives in Sherman Oaks, CA with his brother Mits. He uses his long tongue to flick out and eat crickets and meal worms. Like all Jacksons chameleons, he drinks water off of leaves so he has a sprayer in his cage that makes it “rain” every few hours. He loves getting “spritzed” with a hand sprayer too! He can also change colors and in the wild it helps them avoid predators, making them blend in to their surroundings. He changes from brown to green to speckeled to smooth. For his animal clip review show, Carl reports from different “sets”. They are all made with mineature, doll sized, furnature. Each set is around 2 feet wide. All Carl really has to do is crawl around and knock things over! Using special effects, enhancements are added to make the scenes even funnier. Look for the neon sign, roaring fireplace, steaming coffee and lovely waterfall with windblown leaves!

This is the first installment of Cranky Carl’s Viral Animal Clip Show! In this episode, Carl can’t believe that a squirrel eating a cucumber doesn’t do anything else. He watches as a baby elephant humiliates itself. He’s amazed that a dog can teach it’s puppy to go up and down stairs and he listens to the hideous squeeling of baby sloths. Riviting!

He’s embarrased for Norman the Bike Riding Dog. He sings along with the O Gato Que Canta cat and dines with a Smart Otter. Riviting!
